Mindfulness Meeting

Mindfulness Meeting is a one hour workshop. Participants will learn about the fundamentals of mindfulness practice and experience a brief mindfulness meditation practice. This is a fun, quick way of growing your understanding of and experience with mindfulness in community with others.  This can be done in your home with your friends and neighbors, or in my office space.

Mindfulness 101

Mindfulness 101 is a 6 week class for adults seeking to reduce stress, cultivate more balance and clarity, and gain insight into their lives. Participants will learn several mindfulness meditation practices and about the growing body of scientific research that demonstrates all the ways meditation improves overall wellness.

Learning to Breathe (for adolescents)

Learning to Breathe is for adolescents. This class is an interactive, mindfulness-based curriculum, proven to help teens regulate emotion, improve concentration, and reduce stress.  This class runs 6-8 weeks. To learn more about the research behind L2B, check out www.learning2breathe.org

Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy

MBCT is a research-based intervention originally designed to prevent a relapse of a depressive episode. Researchers now see that MBCT helps with Depression, Anxiety Disorders, and general chronic unhappiness and/or moodiness. It combines the tools of Cognitive Therapy with classical meditation practice. MBCT is offered for both groups and individuals.  Click here for more information: http://www.mbct.com

Mindfulness for Professionals

Mindfulness for Professionals is a one hour workshop designed for your work environment. This workshop is for business professionals, educators, metal health workers, or anyone with an interest in wellness, health, or self-care. This has been used for Professional Development for School Counselors, Early Childhood Educators, and School Social Workers.
