
Elizabeth Gumbis, LCSW

Elizabeth is a fully licensed psychotherapist (Michigan and Illinois) and mindfulness teacher. Along side managing her own private practice, she sometimes teaches Interpersonal Practice courses at the University of Michigan, School of Social Work. Elizabeth also enjoys professional speaking on the topics of Mental Health and Mindfulness.
Elizabeth holds a BA in Psychology and English from Indiana University. She has a Masters in Social Work from the University of Michigan and a Masters in Education from Columbia University, Teachers College. Prior to private practice, Elizabeth worked in the public school system for many years, including working as a Social Emotional Learning Interventionist at Troy High School.
Elizabeth is passionate about helping people discover both their innate capacity for healing and their ability to live life with greater ease.
